History
The 320 series was introduced in 2017 to boost capacity of Nippori-Toneri Liner. Unlike 300 series, the 320 series has aluminium bodies. The light bodies allow more passengers to board even though there is a bridge weight restriction at Arakawa River.
Current Operations & Future Prospects
The 320 series is used on Nippori-Toneri Liner alongside the 300 and 330 series. There is no plan of withdrawal so far (obviously), but no plan of more introduction either.
