Toei 330 series

History

The 330 series is the second rolling stock for Nippori-Toneri Liner. It is based on Yurikamome 7300 series with some modification. The body is made of aluminium, not stainless-steel like 300 series. Lighter bodies than the 300 series allow more passengers to board the train, and thus they successfully boosted capacity.

Current Operations & Future Prospects

Three five-carriage units are used on Nippori-Toneri Liner. The Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation plans to introduce 15 five-car trainsets in total by financial year 2024, replacing the 300 series.
