The Red List of Trains in Japan is a private website owned and managed by KHKQ, a Japanese railway enthusiast. It covers various trains running across the country, mostly the Greater Tokyo Area, and briefly explains their past, present and future. There are few English websites about trains in Japan, but this one does not use any machine translation at all unlike many others. Nearly 400 articles are available, many of which cannot be found on English Wikipedia!

This website is optimised for PC and iPhone. Some smartphone users might find minor errors, but reloading the page would work well.
