History
The 100 series was introduced when Kihara Line of JR East was transerred to Isumi Railway. It was a part of Fuji Heavy Industries' LE-Car II familly, a series of bus-like diesel train (just like Pacer trains of British Rail).
They were renamed 200 series when refurbished, but replaced with 300 and 350 series, and all 200 series were withdrawn from service by 2018. Four out of seven carriages were exported to Myanmar.
