History
The 1101 series was introduced in 2020, and it is formed of three carriages. As 1001 series was successful, the company decided to order more low-floor trams to provide more accessible services. Both types are almost identical to each other, but accommodation is slightly different.
Current Operations & Future Prospects
Along with the 1001 series, the 1101 series runs between Tennoji and Hamaderaekimae, and schedules are fixed. It never runs on Hankai Line between Ebisucho and Sumiyoshi due to short platforms at Imaike tram stop.
