Enoden 2000 series

History

The 2000 series was introduced to replace old trains that were unable to form four coaches. Unlike other rolling stock, the 2000 series is streamlined to allow passengers to enjoy scenery. Traction, motors, bogies and braking system are the same as those of 1000 series (variant 1500).

Refurbishment was taken place in 2016-18, making them more accessible and comfortable.

Current Operations & Future Prospects

Three units have been used on the entire line.
